OLIVEWOOD

PUGLIA - ITALY

Welcome to Salento, the southern most part of Puglia. Here is where we find the home of Olivewood Italy, the husband-and-wife team, beautifully crafting bespoke olive wood boards from fallen olive trees.

Hand Made - Pugliese

Self-taught in the art of wood working, Andrea Venturi is the craftsman behind Olivewood’s traditional, yet minimalist, products shaped from local fallen olive trees. His wife, Kristin, is the artist responsible for the initial drawings and designs. Together with their two children, they live on a picturesque piece of land overlooking an ancient tower and the Adriatic Sea near Otranto.

Traditional Craft - Minimalist Style

Much of the wood from fallen olive trees is used to make biomass, a material burned for energy production. Thankfully, Andrea and Kristin thought to create these beautiful works of natural art. They are stylish and functional additions to any home, while honoring this beautiful and timeless region in Puglia.
